Country music fans from all over the world have flocked to social media after discovering Scotty’s last single “Still” whose music video amassed approximately 300,000 views.
Scotty James is quickly becoming one of country’s most exciting new acts to hit the scene. In just one year, James is Canada’s 10th most popular country artist on social media and has the third fastest growing fanbase against all major Canadian country artists. This uptempo single was co-written by Scotty James and songwriter Ken Johnson who is a support cast member of CMT’s reality show “I Love Kellie Pickler”. “My Car” was one of the first tracks James and Johnson collaborated on. Since then, the songwriting duo has knocked out several tracks together including one that will be cut by a popular Canadian country artist.
“My Car” hits radio the week of July 2016 and will be promoted by Robert Chubey, a leading radio promoter who helped break out JoJo Mason and Chris Buck on Canadian radio. The single was produced by multi-award winning producer Jason Barry and will be included on Scotty James’ debut album “Streets”, which will be released worldwide by Liberty Stone Records and distributed by ole in the Fall 2016.
