It’s been a crazy first year

It’s been a surreal and crazy first year. Last August in 2010, I went door-to-door serenading people at their front doors in hopes of raising money to produce my first album. That’s where i met my manager Johnny. I had no clue he managed artists and ran a music company. After I serenaded him with my song ‘wanna be loved’ (awkward), we continued to talk and later got a recording, artist development, and management deal.

We put our plan in motion and kicked into high gear to fast track my career. We went from 29 facebook fans to over 5000, our first single ‘wanna be loved’ got major radio play across Canada, our music video got picked up by MTV USA and California Music Channel, got featured on two leading A&R sites, opened up for Sublime, Andrew Allen, and He is We, and got the CHUM Bell Media Emerging Artist Award which means national radio play on CHUM Radio! Proves that teamwork, perseverance, hard work and a little luck can make the impossible possible - believe.
